Everything is left to play for the 2012 FIA European truck racing championship drivers

After the race in Zolder, Germany, the German Jochen Hahn gets first place in the drivers ranking but he could be caught up by the Spanish driver, Antonio Albacete. Indeed, there is a difference of only 19 points between these two competitors! MAN Trucks & Bus, which equips both drivers, must be happy with the results.

Renault Trucks still at the top of the teams ranking

With 848 points, the MKR Technology team seems to be in a good position to get the 2012 European team champion title. Renault Trucks can be proud of its teams! After the Zolder truck race, these competitors occupy the three steps of the podium in the general ranking of the 2012 FIA European truck racing team championship.

The FIA European truck racing championship, 5t trucks going full speed ahead!

The trucks taking part in the 2012 FIA European truck racing championship have a 1200hp power and a motorization of a 13l maximum cylinder capacity. In order to take part in the competition, the trucks must weigh a minimum of 5500kg with a distribution of 3300kg on the front axle. But the drivers can’t get crazy, the trucks are not allowed to go any faster than 160km/h, which is already good for a 5t or more truck!
