Jochen Hahn crowned champion of the FIA European truck racing championship
Despite the comeback by Spanish driver Antonio Albacete during the last third of the competition, it is the German driver, Jochen Hahn who finally got the title of 2012 European champion. During the 2012 24-hour truck race, the 38-year-old driver brought his MAN TGS to the second place during the third race. Moved by his win, Jochen Hahn stated that he “made a dream come true”.
MKR Technology: Renault Trucks key team
The team winner of the championship is MKR Technology owned by Renault Trucks. Despite the rain, the team got a double win during the third race of the week-end with Markus Bösiger and Adam Lacko. MKR Technology already won the team European champion title in 2010.
