A Low Deck version for the DAF XF Euro 6 tractor unit !
DAF chose to develop a specific version of its DAF XF tractor unit for the haulage of heavy and voluminous merchandises. The Low Deck DAF XF can tow a semi-trailer with an inside height up to 3 metres with a load volume of 100m3 thanks to its fifth wheel coupling placed at 960mm.

It’s easy to load and unload the Low Deck Euro 6 DAF XF
The back axle of the Low Deck Euro 6 DAF XF tractor unit has pneumatic suspensions, which helps rise the back chassis by 50mm. This feature limits the risk of contact between the tractor unit and the semi-trailer during the loading and unloading operations. This pneumatic suspension is also useful to adapt the driving according to the load by axle and the speed of the tractor-trailer.
Different choices for motorization and technical specifications
Two engines are available for the Low Deck DAF XF : the 12.9-litre PACCAR MX-13 with a power output of 410, 460 or 510hp and the PACCAR MX-11 with 440hp. The fuel tank capacity of this new DAF series is 1090 litres. The Low Deck DAF XF is offered with an automatic or manual gearbox and with 3.60 or 3.80 metres of wheel base. A Space Cab or Super Space Cab is available in option.
