Characteristics of the large box Fiat Ducato
The Fiat Ducato and its maxi cab chassis has a GVW of 3.5 tonnes, its wheel base is 4035mm. It is equipped with a 2.3L Multijet diesel engine with power outputs ranging from 130 to 150hp. The useful load of the Fiat commercial vehicle varies between 850 and 1050kg according to the options.
A recycled innovative material for the Fiat Ducato box
For the 20m3 box, Trouillet chose a recycled and recyclable material : polyethylene terephthalate (PET). This material is lighter than plywood usually used in the inside of commercial vehicle’s boxes. The gain in useful load thanks to this material is 150kg.
