Nearing the end of the season
This year’s season started on April 6th at Pembrey, then was followed by the Brands Hatch meeting on April 20th. The third race took place on June 1st at Thruxton before the trucks went to Nurburging in Germany on July 14th. The fifth event takes place this weekend, August 17th, at Donington.
Top trucks and top drivers in action
Mat Summerfield is the reigning champion with his MAN. But he is not the only one competing with this truck’s make : Ricky Collett, Steve Thomas or Dave Jenkins are all driving MAN trucks.
The Renault trucks are used by Luke Taylor and the TTX-backed Rooster Racing team who is looking to stop the MAN domination. Other truck makes are also represented : Foden with Dave Smith, DAF with Steve Powell, Volvo with Brian Burt and Iveco with Craig Reid.
