Busworld exhibition 2013 takes place in Kortrijk from the 18th to the 23th October
The most important exhibition dedicated to passenger transport will stand in Kortrijk, in Belgium. This year, the topic of the Busworld Kortrijk is mainly focused on the Euro 6 standard emissions. Buses and coaches manufacturers will get the opportunity to show their last models of vehicles and motors in public. More than 300 exhibitors spread over 30 countries are expected to the Busworld 2013. Almost 32 000 visitors came forward to the previous edition.

Euro 6 standard has pride of place on Busworld exhibition 2013
A few weeks before the Euro 6 antipollution standard came into effect (the 1st January 2014), the Busworld exhibition in Kortrijk provides the manufacturers the ideal opportunity to introduce their new range of coaches and buses meeting the new Euro 6 standard. The main bus manufacturers will naturally take part to this exhibition, such as Iveco bus, Safra, Man Truck & Bus, Volvo Bus, Van Hool and Scania… A high number of conferences are also organized promoting sustainable transportation solutions.
Volvo hybrid articulated buses at the core of the Busworld Kortrijk
Many previews are expected by the organizers of the Busworld Kortrijk. One of them concerns Volvo Bus, which will introduce its brand new Volvo 7900, an 18m length Volvo hybrid articulated bus. This bus enables to save about 37% of fuel with an emission rate reduced from 40% to 50%. Another flagship product of this Busworld Kortrijk edition is the new TopClass 500 Euro 6 from Setra and the Tourismo HD Euro 6 from Mercedes-Benz.
