Volvo Trucks adds ultra-resistant bumpers on the Volvo FH
Equipped with a new ultra-resistant bumper, the Volvo FH becomes the ideal truck for construction sites and timber transport.
In addition to its dynamism, its power and cab's comfort, the Volvo FH adds a new asset with ultra-resistant bumpers : robustness. Ready to get on the most difficult terrains, Volvo's emblematic truck becomes even more versatile.
Thus, the Volvo FH can now be used on construction sites or in forest. It can also be used for long distance haulage on rough terrains.

A robust steel bumper
The bumper's angles as well as the protection plate are made of 3mm steel.
In order to protect the lights, the bumper is moved 132 mm forward.
Optionally, the Volvo FH can be equipped with an approved coupling hook with a 36-tonne capacity.
« The vehicle is robust enough to face situations with an important risk of deteriorations » adds Richard Fritz, vice-president of Volvo Trucks Brand.
A preserved high-end image
Volvo Trucks' design director paid attention to preserve the high-end image of the Volvo FH. Thus, at the front the truck was thought out to be more resistant without changing its appearance. The bumper's lines are slender and integrate well with the rest of the truck.
The Volvo FH equipped with an ultra resistant bumper will be showcased at Intermat, the lnternational exhibition for construction materials, which takes place in Paris April 20 to 25, 2015.
