Bridgestone expands their Bandag retread tyres for buses and coaches
International leader in the making of retread tyres, Bridgestone launches three new Bandag tyre sizes specially designed for buses and coaches. Retread tyres offer public transportation vehicles the possibility of driving longer and saving energy.
Bridgestone introduces new retread tyre sizes
The Japanese make introduces a new size for their Bangad U-AP 001 retread tyres launched at the end of 2015. Indeed, Bridgestone now offers the 245/70R19.5 size for coaches.
Moreover, the latest Bandag BDR-C retread tryes for coaches from Bridgestone are now available in sizes 245/70R19.5 and 295/80R22.5. With the addition of these new dimensions in the retread tyre range, Bridgestone covers most coach and bus tyre sizes on the market.
Retreads and « multi-life » according to Bridgestone
Bridgestone, retread specialist since its creation, guarantees the « multi-life » of tyres. Retreading happens when the tyre is used giving it a "new life". This technique extends of tyre's lifespan, by replacing the used tread of the tyre by a new one. In the process, the tyre's carcass is kept the same. Finally, just like new tyres, retreads are controlled before being used.
The advantages of the Bridgestone retread tyres
