Mercedes-Benz Trucks unveils a renewed version of its Actros L ProCabin, focused on aerodynamic performance and driver comfort. The cab, redesigned with an 80 mm longer front section and adjustments to improve airflow, allows for up to 3 % fuel savings. The manufacturer combines this optimisation with the third-generation OM 471 engine, designed to reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. The efficiency gains, estimated at 4 %, are accompanied by a reduction in total cost of ownership (TCO). The Top Torque programme, providing extra power in demanding situations, complements these technical developments.
