Renault Trucks E-Tech T: 2 new models for long-distance transport

Renault Trucks is expanding its range of electric trucks for goods transport. The manufacturer is beginning the commercial launch of two new models in the E-Tech T series.

600 km range

The Renault Trucks E-Tech T 585 and T 780 are equipped with NCA (nickel, cobalt, aluminum) lithium-ion batteries guaranteed for 8 years or 1 million kilometers. With capacities of 585 kWh for the first model and 780 kWh for the second, they enable up to 600 km of driving on a single charge. They also have the advantage of being compatible with MCS (Megawatt Charging System) technology. These fast-charging stations (only 45 minutes) with 720 kW provide up to 350 km of range.

Such performance for vehicles in this category has been made possible thanks to the introduction of the E-axle, an electric axle that facilitates the integration of the many components of the driveline, starting with the motors and the transmission. This frees up space in the chassis rails, making room for additional battery packs.

28 tonnes payload

The T 585 is intended for professionals seeking a vehicle with high transport capacity. Its payload, the highest so far in this range, can reach up to 28 tonnes. The T 780 better meets the needs of long-distance transport.

To optimize customer investment, Renault Trucks offers several services, including personalized support (for one year), its Optifleet fleet management solution, and its Driver App for battery state monitoring.
