Cost reduction - the key objective for Iveco Stralis Hi-Way
The new Iveco Stralis Hi-Way was designed to help trucking companies reduce their operating costs. And these are vital changes in these difficult times for road transportation industry. The Iveco Stralis Hi-Way consumes less fuel thanks to both its Euro VI engine and the aerodynamic qualities of its cab. The Driving Style Evaluation monitors the driver's performance and suggests various solutions to cut down the tractor unit's fuel consumption. Iveco will also offer technical and support services of its experts to all buyers of the new Stralis Hi-Way.
The Euro VI engine of the Iveco Stralis Hi-Way, a true technological breakthrough
The Euro VI engine designed by Iveco is the only one to meet these emission limits without the use of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system. This new solution enables to reduce harmful emissions by 90%, and the Iveco Stralis Hi-Way will require maintenance only every 150,000 km. The fuel consumption by the Euro VI engine of the new Stralis should be equal or inferior to the one by the Euro V engine.
